I started out as a Farmer and Rancher from the time I was born. I was fortunate enough to meet the love of my life at age 19. Since then, we have enjoyed raising crops, cattle, kids. Then we decided to move into the landscape + construction industry 5 years ago when I discovered my love for it. Landscaping + Construction is the perfect fit for me, and the most natural progression of my career. Once the joys of landscaping + construction took a hold of me, I couldn’t turn back. Seeing the smiles on customers faces after a job well done, and making personal connection that will last a lifetime was so beyond rewarding. So we left the farm, and moved south of Houston where God called us to be. We found an abundance of opportunity to help turn houses into HOMES!
My love for plants started at around the age of 2. I was born in Houston and was fortunate to have a grandmother whom inspired my love of plants. I was taught the ins and outs of flowers/plants as well as Amaryllis. I spent summers on my grandparents farm in Komenski, Texas, were I learned about grafting plants/trees and harvesting vegetables from the garden. I moved to Central Texas when I was 13 and when I was 15, I helped build and manage a very successful Landscape and Nursery business from the ground up. I started out in sales and within 8 months, I was a manager & Landscape Designer for the business. I met Joshua when I was 23, and we married when I was 25. I left my role within the company to help my husband on the farm. In the 12 years that we have been together, we have raised 3 amazing children, moved south of Houston to further our Landscaping dreams and strengthened our relationships with God. It feels good to be back in a “Tropical Greenhouse” filled with amazing people and beautiful plants.
